A New Jersey Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reiki Practitioner. I am a proud Alumnus of Therapeutic Massage and Training Center in Westfield, NJ. Recently I received my certification in Reiki Healing, Holy Fire Level I & II. I have been an experienced Yoga Instructor since 2017, offering Yoga in three area yoga studios. As in Yoga, seeking to bring the mind, body, and spirit towards union, I have been on my own spiritual and healing journey for many years now. Exploring different modalities and
connecting with great teachers and practitioners. The culmination is a continuance of my desire to bring what I have learned to students of Yoga and now clients in my therapeutic bodywork massage practice.

Many years ago, as an athlete, eventual coach, and rookie police officer I have been drawn towards improving myself and my skill sets from respected, well knowledge people. Having spent twenty-five years serving the people of my hometown, Paramus, as a police officer I learned many things from many people. The most profound being that I have a great desire to help people in areas that I have been blessed with progressing at. Therapeutic Bodywork Massage is now one of those opportunities.

I live in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, have three adult age children & a dog named Harley. I have lived in New Jersey all my life and love what our area has to offer. I love the beach, travel, music, spending time in nature, practicing yoga and interacting with as much that life has to offer.

My journey that led me towards massage therapy as a profession was two parts. I had been told by a special person in my life that I was very good at massage. With no formal training at the time, I relied on my own experiences with massage and found that the body can direct me toward providing healing touch where it was needed. My own experiences with receiving massages from certified therapist went beyond that “feels good” result. In my twenty-five-year career as a police officer I was exposed to many things that unknowingly would resurface in the years after I retired. Having been diagnosed with Cumulative Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), I found that yoga and direct hands-on healing touch would help me filter through those experiences. Learning that “the issues are in the tissues” and working with a knowledgeable licensed massage therapist, I found that I could heal and work through those experiences from my past.

To be able to be trained as a now licensed massage therapist & a certified reiki practitioner, I see where and how I can bring that healing touch to clients. This is not only personal for me, but it is born out of a passion to share with others opportunities to improve their overall health. In short, I want to “pay it forward” sharing what has worked for me and plan along with clients to have it work for them.

My practice philosophy is to be authentic in all areas of my offerings. A client’s time spent in my care is equally valuable to us both. The process would be to learn what the clients’ needs and expectations are. Then working together plan out a course of treatment to bring about the best outcomes. With this understanding, as a licensed massage therapist and certified reiki practitioner I have extensive knowledge and skills in customary massage for stress and pain relief, deep tissue massage to address root cause of pain, injury and trauma, focused areas such as upper & lower back pain (including Sciatica and Piriformis syndrome), upper and lower leg pain and or injury, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, lymphatic drainage and more...

I am also certified in Buccal massage. Buccal massage or more commonly known as “facial massage” is a technique that focuses on the inner and outer cheek muscles to release tension, sculpt facial contours, and improve circulation. It's often described as a "natural facelift" as it can help lift and tone the face, reduce puffiness, and soften lines. The massage is performed both externally on the face and internally by massaging the cheeks from inside the mouth with gloved hands.

The process begins through initial contact with prospective clients and a common understanding of how I may be able to improve one’s quality of life through therapeutic bodywork massage and reiki healing. Please contact me directly to have some initial conversation and plan out your healthcare
needs.

I look forward to the opportunity.
